EPIC DAY
yesterday was truly truly epic. TRULY TRULY EPIC. i actually found out through facebook that i have a long lost cousin from my mother’s side, nicolo. im long been separated from my mom. like since i was 3. talk about awkward moments when we actually see each other.
my dad used to beat me up when he’d find out that iv talked to my mother or i have accepted a gift from her. so my mom stopped trying to see me and talk to me, just so my dad would stop hurting me. however, he has huuuge anger issues, and he’d just hit me for lame reasons. like getting a mistake on a test or forgetting to bring something to school. not being at the gate on time. etc. i used to get beat up a lot.
long lost cousin had an almost similar situation. however, in his case he really didnt get to see his dad anymore when he was 3. his mom has been saying all sorts of things for the past 21 years.
he contacted my mom, she gave him his dad’s number and gave nicolo’s dad his number.
now he’s kinda scared. he doesnt really know if he’s gonna contact his dad. like he’s been living 21 long years doing okay… and i was like, at least you get to finally know who your dad is. and that you still have a dad. not some guy who jacked off in a cup. i mean there are situations a lot more worse than the shit iv been through.
there is always ALWAYS a silver lining. and meeting him gives me hope. hope for a complete family. it may not be the best but at least it is still a family. <3
